We’re pleased to introduce the Hiko U Pillar® to Australian electricity distribution market.

The U Pillar — protected under Australian Patent No. 2022365852 — is a next generation underground service connection system designed for contemporary Australian branching and looping network architectures. Its unique configuration positions service fuse gear or DIN disconnects safely below ground level inside a dedicated air chamber, while still allowing technicians to inspect and maintain connections from above pit level, including during flood or high water events common across Australian conditions.
