Powering Reliability with the Hiko Cabinet
Strength Meets Innovation
As power networks evolve to meet the rapidly changing world, reliability and safety are paramount. That’s where the Hiko Cabinet stands out.
This cabinet is:
strong
lightweight, and offers
high-performance
The enclosure is designed to meet the requirements of:
link boxes
multi-service pillars
metering, and
transformer feeder applications.
Whether installed inground, surface-mounted, or wall-mounted, indoors or outdoors, Hiko backs this modular cabinet to deliver versatility without compromise.

How has Hiko done this?
We have sourced a high-strength sheet moulding compound (SMC), with the specific aim of enabling service life of over 20 years. The SMC has exceptional corrosion resistance, and high dielectric strength to ensure public safety. Its unique ribbed exterior not only prevents postering but also prevents light from escaping. The cabinet has strong UV resistance and environmental durability, making it ideal for harsh coastal, urban, and industrial environments.
Why did Hiko do this?
Because we’ve been listening to our customers and learning from their experience.
And whilst safety and durability are always critical, we’ve also been focused on designing with practicality in mind, hence the cabinet door that opens 180° for easy access and maintenance, and the three secure fixing points on both the lock and hinge sides.
We pride ourselves on our modular designs that allow for easy assembly, disassembly, and component replacement—no special tools required.
The team at Hiko are always available to discuss your long-term investments in network resilience.
